After the crazy-awesome whirlwind of senior week, graduation, Leslie and Daniel's wedding (:D !!), a family vacation, and hiking and kayaking with Victor, Jay and Becca in Acadia, I'm sitting at home in St. Louis nearly buried under a pile of half-unpacked boxes. It's bit surreal to be digging through all my college belongings here, rather than in my dorm room. More surreal: I leave for Peru in three days. Guess I should start packing, eh?
I don't have a whole lot of Peru-related news yet (as I am, erm, still in St. Louis), so this post will be short. But never fear, I have more reading available for you procrastinators. I got to visit Leslie, Daniel and family yesterday. (Yay!!) When I told Jack about my imminent ant research, he grabbed his iPhone and pulled up a short story. We read the whole thing aloud. It's about ants, and it's pretty awesome. And creepy. Check it out: Leiningen Versus the Ants
Thanks for reading! Stay tuned-- my next post will actually be from Peru. In the meantime, shoot me an email! I miss you all and I'd love to hear from you. :)
